__Indian Drum

A while in the making but I think I was able to capture the texture of the drum top and still keep a realistic look to the entire coin. This is a simple but very nice coin and extra thick just to give a bit more weight to the drum.

__Gator got my Cache

After finding my first Geocoin I discovered the Geocoin forum and was swept into a world of colours and designs. Having studied graphic design in college I was fascinated with the different styles and ideas. And the more I saw, the more I wanted to make my own. I started to sketch out a few ideas and was focusing on a design that comes from my family heritage (more about that one to come) but it just wasn't coming together right, so I put it to one side. I had just read something about various animals people had encountered while geocaching and it got me thinking about which ones would actually be a danger to the cache rather than the cacher. There were already quite a few geocoins with woodland creatures and bears, etc I had to think of something different. My son was watching TV and at that moment Captain Hook was being chased by the crocodile and click the idea stuck. Others have used crocodiles on geocoins but I wanted it to be fun, which is why I drew him in a cartoon style with a very confused look on his face not sure what he has just bitten. I hope you like it and enjoy my first Geocoin.

__PETR VOK OF ROSENBERG GEOCOIN

__Titanic, 100 year geocoin

On April 15th, 2012 it is 100 years ago the Titanic sank.

The RMS Titanic was the second of three luxurious ships of the Olymic classe ocean liners. During the first trip of the Titanic in April 1912, the ship collided with an iceberg; a part of the starboard side was pierced on several places, and the ship sank within three hours. 1522 people died. Although this was not the bigges shipping disaster in history, given the number of victims, it was the most known, especially because the ship was known as "unsinkable".

On the front is the Titanic with the iceberg (in glitter enamel). The back was made in the shape of a ships buoy, with a real rope around it. In the middle of the buoy is a pathtag with a unique number, which can be logged on pathtags.com.

This beautiful geocoin is 50mm in diameter and 8mm thick.

__rainbow geocoin | black nickel (re2) & antique copper (xle2)
